Academic Program
The rheumatology fellowship curriculum follows ACGME (American Council of Graduate Medical Education) and American College of Rheumatology requirements.
Rotations
Year 1 & 2
Six months of in-patient consultative rheumatology at Hahnemann University Hospital and Abington Memorial Hospital, with the remaining six months consisting of either consultative rheumatology, research, rotating at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children or electives.

Conferences
Two conferences occur each Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Conferences include topics from the following categories: Journal club, research conferences, basic science conferences, clinical conferences, and multidisciplinary conferences with many departments such as orthopedics, pathology, and radiology.

Evaluations
Evaluations are completed in New Innovations software program. Rheumatology fellows are evaluated for each month of rotation, and continuity clinic evaluations are done quarterly.
Faculty and program is evaluated annually. 360 evaluations are completed randomly throughout the year.
