Libraries
Four library branches serve the educational, clinical, and research needs of Drexel University College of Medicine. These branches house more than 325,000 volumes, receive more than 17,000 current journal subscriptions, and use up-to-date information technologies to provide access to institutional and intramural information sources.
Library collections are searchable through online catalogs at all library sites, or remotely via the campus network or modem. Also available are MEDLINE, the primary database of biomedical information, and specialized databases including PscyINFO (psychology) and PDQ (cancer). PC's and Macintosh computers are available, as well as computer-assisted instruction and simulation programs. Bookstore
The University Store is the official full-service store for the Center City Campus. It stocks all required and recommended texts for all courses taught at the campus, as well as an extensive selection of reference titles and electronic media for undergraduate and graduate medical and health sciences education. A special-order service for any book in print is available.
The University Store also carries a full line of medical instruments, lab coats, stationery, school supplies, insignia clothing, giftware, greeting cards, general reading materials, computer software, and accessories. Office of Multicultural Programs and Services
The Office of Multicultural Programs and Services acts as a resource and advocate for diverse student populations regarding their academic, social, and personal inquiries, issues, concerns, and suggestions.
