MSP students who complete the program with a B average or higher and receive at least a 27 on the MCAT are guaranteed admission to the IMS program for the following year. Those who complete the degree requirements during this second year receive a Master of Biological Science (MBS) degree. Although students in good academic standing have the option of returning for the second year, they are not required to do so.
