Applications must be completed by July 1 of the year preceding the intended fellowship, which begins in July.

Documents to be submitted with a copy of the Universal Application for Residency include current curriculum vitae, USMLE Test Scores, Medical School Transcript, three letters of recommendation, ECFMG Certificate (if applicable).

Selection Process

The selection process includes consideration of the following elements:

  • Motivation to practice cytopathology
  • Personal assessments in letters of recommendation
  • Communication skills

Applications are screened by the program director and then selected applicants are invited for interviews.
