Dear Fellowship Applicant:
Thank you for your interest in the Drexel University College of Medicine Nephrology training program. The accredited, two-year program (a third-year accredited renal transplantation fellowship may be elected) provides fellows with the unique opportunity to learn from our diverse and talented faculty.
The faculty at Drexel University College of Medicine are board certified in nephrology, and one in critical care and geriatric medicine. Also, the recruitment of several additional research and clinical nephrologists is currently under way. Teaching is supplemented by visiting professors and faculty from other departments, including frequent interaction with a pathologist who maintains expertise in renal histopathy.
The division is committed to the education of the nephrology trainee, and the conference and rounding schedules are consistent with this commitment. All activities are appropriately supervised and designed to provide the trainees with competence in all renal procedures.
Please take the time to learn more about our program from this website. We participate in ERAS application process.
Thank you for your interest.
Sincerely,
Sandra P. Levison, M.D.
