How to Apply

Applications are accepted through ERAS (NRMP program number: 1849120)

Selection Process

Resident applicants apply to our program through ERAS. Applicants must provide letters from two physicians with whom they have worked in the clinical setting in addition to the ERAS application, Dean’s letter and USMLE scores. The Program Director and faculty review applications. Applicants who are invited to interview may select from 10 to 12 interview dates.

The interview day provides the candidates with the opportunity to meet with the Program Director, Family Medicine Residency Faculty, and Residents of the program. The Department Chair in Family Medicine is also available to meet with the candidates. A tour of the Family Medicine Center and Hahnemann University Hospital is included. All candidates have an interview with the Program Director, two or three personal interviews with faculty and department members, an interview/tour with a host resident, and the opportunity to meet and talk with many of the residents from the program during an informal lunch.
