Rotation Schedules*
Categorical PGY-1
- 5 to 6 months general medicine ward service
- 1 to 2 months ICU (MICU or CCU)
- 3 to 5 weeks of night float
- 2 months of ambulatory outpatient medicine in primary care, subspecialty, or non-medicine specialties including dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT, etc.
- 2 to 3 months of elective
- Preliminary interns get 3 to 5 months of elective since they do not have 2 months of ambulatory
Categorical PGY-2
- 4 to 5 months general medicine ward service
- 2 months ICU/MAR
- 2 months ambulatory
- 2-3 months elective
Categorical PGY-3
- 3 months general medicine ward service
- 1 month ICU
- 1 month MAR
- 2 weeks of triage
- 1 month ambulatory
- 2 weeks STD Clinic
- 2 weeks medicine consultation service
- 2 weeks neurology
- 2-3 months elective
