Rotation Schedules*

Categorical PGY-1

  • 5 to 6 months general medicine ward service
  • 1 to 2 months ICU (MICU or CCU)
  • 3 to 5 weeks of night float
  • 2 months of ambulatory outpatient medicine in primary care, subspecialty, or non-medicine specialties including dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT, etc.
  • 2 to 3 months of elective
  • Preliminary interns get 3 to 5 months of elective since they do not have 2 months of ambulatory

Categorical PGY-2

  • 4 to 5 months general medicine ward service
  • 2 months ICU/MAR
  • 2 months ambulatory
  • 2-3 months elective

Categorical PGY-3

  • 3 months general medicine ward service
  • 1 month ICU
  • 1 month MAR
  • 2 weeks of triage
  • 1 month ambulatory
  • 2 weeks STD Clinic
  • 2 weeks medicine consultation service
  • 2 weeks neurology
  • 2-3 months elective
