Letter from the Program Director Minimize

Welcome to the Department of Neurology Residency Program. At Drexel University College of Medicine there is a strong commitment to classical neurological training. The residents meet every morning for an hour with the chairman to discuss the previous day’s patients. Attending physicians make daily rounds, conduct teaching conferences and are accessible for patient-care questions. Most patient care is provided under the direct supervision of attending physicians. Junior residents are provided with adequate back-up from the chief resident and attending staff. The Department is divided into subsections, each of which has a strong basic science base. Residents are invited to participate in all of our laboratory and clinical trial activity.

You are invited to visit us at Hahnemann University Hospital, take a tour, talk to our faculty and residents. We hope that you will take the opportunity to evaluate our program firsthand.

Jyoti Pillai, M.D.
