The program utilizes three main inpatient facilities: Hahnemann University Hospital (HUH), Graduate Hospital (GRAD) and Northeastern Hospital (NE).

  • Hahnemann University Hospital (HUH) is a 500+ bed university hospital located in center city Philadelphia. The program relocated to this site in November of 1999 with the resumption of full obstetrics and gynecologic services. This facility includes departmental offices, resident facilities, redecoration and out-fitting of labor and delivery and postpartum, new operating room equipment for gynecologic surgery and incorporation into the rest of the clinical services in the institution. Additionally, there are new family waiting facilities, a 20-bed neonatal intensive care unit, an 8-bed private postpartum suite, an expanded L&D with 7 LDR’s and three new triage rooms. There are two main operating rooms suites available to the residents in this institution: the short procedure unit (SPU), an 8-room complete-day-stay-type OR, and the 8th-floor OR, a 12-room intensive main operating room suite. There are two main intensive care areas as well as complete medical and surgical floors. The main residents' continuity practice is located on this campus. This serves as the primary inpatient facility for the residency program.
