HAHNEMANN UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL (HUH)

Located at Broad and Vine Streets in Center City Philadelphia, Hahnemann University Hospital is a 636-bed tertiary facility that annually admits over 17,000 inpatients and treats almost 100,000 outpatients. Hahnemann University Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and sees more than 27,000 visitors in its Emergency Department. The Oral and Maxillofacial Residency Program has 24 hour call for the Emergency Center for all facial traumas.

ST. CHRISTOPHER’S HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN

St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, located in Northeast Philadelphia, is a 183-bed medical center, which serves as a regional referral hospital for children from the Greater Philadelphia region and throughout the world. Each year St. Christopher’s admits more than 11,000 inpatients, treats nearly 45,000 outpatients and sees more than 50,700 visitors in the Emergency Department. The Oral and Maxillofacial Residency Program has 24 hour call for the Emergency Center for all facial traumas in addition to treating patients in the outpatient clinic every Wednesday afternoon. The OMFS Residents are an integral part of the craniofacial teams. They diagnose and treat patients with cleft lip, palate and other craniofacial deformities.

OUTPATIENT OFFICE

The outpatient office is located at 207 N. Broad Street (across the street from Hahnemann University Hospital). Residents and interns are exposed to a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including implants, dentoalveolar, trauma follow-ups, etc.
