President's Welcome

Welcome to our Alumni web pages! Now that you are here, please look around, check out the information and photos, and visit this site often to stay informed of our activities, news and events, as well as those of  the medical school and the university.

The Alumni Association is an active and integral part of Drexel University College of Medicine. Each year the association sponsors educational and social programs for medical students, graduate students and residents. We provide scholarships and commencement awards, and support student organizations, Research Day, Alumni Weekend, the 50th Reunion, and the College of Medicine fund raisers. We are also a great resource for our members, connecting alumni with their former classmates, other alumni and the College of Medicine. We are seated on the board of trustees of Drexel University.

We treasure our rich traditions and represent the alumnae and alumni of the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann Medical College, Medical College of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann University, MCPHU, and Drexel University College of Medicine. The heritage of each school is commemorated beautifully in the history and portrait exhibits at the Queen Lane campus. This will soon be accompanied by the archives that will be housed in a newly built facility at the Queen Lane campus. We are proud to have contributed to the creation of the new facility. At the Queen Lane campus, these treasures can be appreciated by our students, faculty and visitors every day. We encourage all alumni to become active members of our association and to stay in touch via our activities and website. Send us your news for our newsletters and nominate colleagues for the prestigious awards that we bestow annually. Get involved -- no contribution is too small and all contributions are sincerely appreciated.
