Drexel University College of Medicine's Mini-Medical School offers several distinct medical education programs which are open to community members interested in expanding their medical knowledge. Our Mini-Medical School was the first in the area to launch medical mentoring programs.

Mini-Med Spring Break™

Mini-Med for the Pre-Med
Mini-Med for the Pre-Med is offered to college students on the pre-med track or others who may be considering applying to medical school in the near future. In this fun and relaxed environment you will listen to lectures, participate in labs, and interact with fourth-year medical students. Each evening is designed to give you the opportunity to better understand what to expect while in medical school and better prepare you for the process ahead.

Mini-Med Discovery Days
Mini-Med Discovery Days is a grant program made possible through the generosity of The Kal and Lucille Rudman Foundation. It is offered to high school students who attend Julia R. Masterman High School and Central High School. The Rudmans believe strongly in the importance of education and of having various opportunities available to all.
The scholarship for the Masterman students is given in the name of Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers’ daughter, Jenne, a Masterman graduate. Mr. Rudman was a graduate of Central High School and offers this scholarship in support of his alma mater.
