I was born in Hangzhou, China, which is extremely famous for its beautiful scenery. I finished both my undergraduate and graduate studies in Tongji Medical College in Wuhan, China. My master research focused on TNF-A, tumor necrosis factor-a, a cytokine involved in many kinds of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes. I prepared monoclonal antibody against transmembrane TNF-A, the precursor of mature form of soluble TNF-A. This research experience told me that scientific research was hard, tiring but also interesting and exciting. Study abroad is the new start of my life. I hope I will succeed in my academic study and enjoy a happy life in Drexel.
