I was born and raised in Eagleville, PA which is a suburb of Philadelphia. I completed my undergraduate education at a university in the Pocono mountains. While there I worked on a research project in pathogenic bacteria and a project on DNA mutation in a species of crab. I am interested in many aspects and types of human disease. I am particularly interested in autoimmune diseases, cancers and bacterial infections. I also enjoy watching sports, traveling, camping and gardening.
